Easy Crock Pot Queso

This is another great go-to recipe for parties! This year we brought it to a Super Bowl party and a fun game night with friends.  It was a hit! We served this meaty queso with tortilla chips, but we also found ourselves dipping chicken tenders and other things in this because it’s so good!

Creamed Spinach

I have never made creamed spinach before, and was honestly a little hesitant to try it for some reason. However, I really wanted some creamed spinach to go with the Parmesan Pork Chops I was making (recipe coming soon!), so I decided to try some!
The best thing about this was that the leftovers made a great dip to eat with tortilla chips!

Cheesy Tater Tot Casserole

This recipe is definitely a crowd-pleaser!
It has quickly become a family favorite of ours, and whenever we share it with friends, it always gets great reviews! So when some of our friends had a cookout recently, we knew exactly what side dish to bring.  When I told everyone that I was bringing cheesy tater tot casserole, our host replied, “You had me at tater!” The best part is that this recipe is quick and easy and only has five ingredients in it!

Rosemary Roasted Potatoes

One of our family’s favorite side dishes is roasted potatoes. We chop our taters into bite-sized pieces, roll them around in olive oil and rosemary goodness, and then bake them until they’re nicely browned and crisp on the outside. Yum! You can have your french fries, America – I’ll take these much healthier and tastier spuds!

Spinach and Artichoke Dip

My mom requested that I make some sort of dip for her birthday cookout, perhaps spinach and artichoke dip. I’ve never made any before, so I thought this would be a good time to give it a shot. I wanted something fairly quick and simple, because I wouldn’t have a whole lot of time to make it. After reviewing and searching for several recipes, I finally found one that had a lot of great reviews and seemed simple enough.

Herb’s Bruschetta

One Saturday recently I took my Nana to the local farmer’s market to get some fresh veggies. Tomatoes were in abundance, so I purchased a few, not entirely sure what I would use them for. Then the idea of a simple bruschetta recipe came to me – putting the tomatoes with some of our fresh garden basil and cheese on toast! Sounds like a great lunch to me!

Sweet Potato Fries

We love sweet potato fries! It seems like sweet potato fries have really caught on in the past couple of years. Even Burger King offers them as an alternative to regular french fries! Sweet potatoes are naturally packed with flavor and don’t need much to be added to make them into delicious fries!
