Herb’s Special Spaghetti

Nestle’s Chocolate Chip Pie

Pinit

If you’re like me and enjoy pretty much anything that involves warm, gooey, chocolate chips, then this chocolate chip pie is for you! It’s NESTLE’s very own pie recipe, and in addition to being simple, it is heavenly!

NESTLE’s Chocolate Chip Pie

 Recipe Ingredients

  • One 9-inch, deep-dish frozen pie shell (I prefer Pillsbury)

Santa Fe Stuffed Bell Peppers

Pinit

I hadn’t even heard of “stuffed peppers” until a few years ago. This was definitely not a recipe that my family ever ate while I was growing up, the main reason probably being Sister Spice’s pickyness! (And I will admit, I was a little bit picky as a child as well!)

Chicken Marsala IV

Pinit

This chicken Marsala recipe is the fourth and final recipe in our very first recipe comparison! Wow, did we end with a good one!

Meaty, Saucy Lasagna

Cinnamon Baked Apple Slices

Pinit

Oh, Autumn. Time for that winning apple cinnamon combination!
This is the first time I’ve ever attempted baked apples, and I’m pretty satisfied! Herb especially liked that this recipe for baked apples includes raisins.

Cinnamon Baked Apple Slices

Recipe Ingredients:

  • 2-3 apples (a tart variety is preferable. We used Granny Smith’s)

Scratch Brick Oven Pizza

Pinit

PIZZA: who doesn’t love pizza? There are so many different variations of crusts, cheeses, and toppings. Mister Spice and I are pizza lovers, and even though I’ve had pizza from a lot of places (including Italy!) Scratch Brick Oven Pizza in Johnson City makes the most unique, mouth-watering pies I’ve ever had.
It’s just a little house on the corner of East Unaka and North Road Street in Johnson City.

Cheesy Tater Tot Casserole

Pinit

This recipe is definitely a crowd-pleaser!

It has quickly become a family favorite of ours, and whenever we share it with friends, it always gets great reviews! So when some of our friends had a cookout recently, we knew exactly what side dish to bring.  When I told everyone that I was bringing cheesy tater tot casserole, our host replied, “You had me at tater!” The best part is that this recipe is quick and easy and only has five ingredients in it!

Best Guacamole Ever

Pinit

Something you should know about Herb: He’s a guacamole fanatic. Seriously. Guacamole is probably his favorite food (besides cheesecake!) I liked guacamole before I met Herb, and now I’ve developed a great fondness toward it as well. It helps that we can make it fresh ourselves (which we do, OFTEN!) and serve it with our Mexican themed dinners or as a snack.

Sister Spice’s Super Simple Milky Way Cookie Cake

Pinit

It’s ooey.  It’s gooey.  It’s ooey-gooey, chocolate-chippy, Milky Way deliciousness, and with only two ingredients, it’s super simple!  If you’re looking for something inexpensive and easy to make for a party, try this out!
