2-Ingredient Oreo Bark

2-Ingredient Oreo Bark; Hershey's Cookies'n'Cream Recipe

Pinit

How do you eat your Oreos? Are you a milk dipper? Do you take yours apart and lick all the cream off the insides? Herb is definitely a dipper, while I prefer to take mine apart and eat them in tiny bites (gotta spread out the goodness!)

Oreos are my major weakness. We don’t keep them at the house because they will be going, going, GONE if we do!

We did buy some recently to make a recipe for Herb’s Birthday. However, we ended up just eating most of the bag in a couple of days! With the few that were left over, we decided to try making some Oreo bark!

If you like Hershey’s Cookies’n’Cream candy bars, you will love this!

Recipe Ingredients

  • Oreos
  • White chips or morsels (found with the chocolate chips)

The ratio I used was approximately 1/2 cup of white chips to about 4 crushed Oreos.

Recipe Directions

How much bark do you want to make? This will determine the size of container/dish you will need. We made only a small batch, using 4-5 crushed Oreos and 1/2 cup white chips. The container we used was roughly 6 inches by 4 inches. You’ll want your bark to be about 1/4 inch thick.

Pick a preferably shallow container or dish of any kind. We used a shallow plastic food storage container. Line the bottom and sides of your container with aluminum foil. Plastic wrap would probably would work as well.

In a small bowl, microwave your white chips for 30 seconds, then stir. If chips aren’t melted completely, microwave in 15-second intervals, stirring in between, until the chips are completely melted. Then pour the melted chips into your container. 2-Ingredient Oreo Bark; Hershey's Cookies'n'Cream

Crush your Oreos to desired consistency. I left mine in fairly large crumbles. Then just sprinkle them over the melted white chips and gently press them down.

Refrigerate for half an hour or longer until the bark is completely hardened. Then pop it out of the container, and chow down with a glass of milk!
